Amy L. Duckworth, DPM joined Northern California Orthopedic Center in January 2008 as a podiatrist specializing in sports related injuries and elective surgery.  Dr. Duckworth has been published in several medical journals and brings firsthand experience as a former soccer player with foot and ankle problems.

Dr. Duckworth received her medical degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine and completed her postgraduate residency training at hospitals in Indianapolis and Detroit.  From there, she returned to California and began her work as an podiatric surgeon.  Dr. Duckworth was elected president of the Sacramento Valley Podiatric Medical Association.  She is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management.  In her spare time, Dr. Duckworth enjoys playing soccer and taking advantage of the many events in Sacramento.
