Dr. Greene earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed a general surgery internship at the UC Davis Medical Center. His orthopedic residency training was completed at the Yale New Haven Hospital, followed by a sports medicine fellowship at UC San Francisco. Dr. Greene is a very active member of the medical community, frequently participating in research, publishing articles and presentations, and speaking at conferences. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and a member of the California Orthopaedic Association at the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. As a former high school athlete, Dr. Greene experienced injuries that required orthopedic treatment. Combining this with his long-term interest in the biological sciences led to orthopedic surgery as his chosen profession. Dr. Greene displays his genuine interest and dedication to athletic health by volunteering his time to help many local teams. In his spare time, Dr. Greene enjoys spending time with his family, biking, tennis, camping and hiking. |
